If you type this into google maps you should see a town in fuerteventura, Calle Comandante Felix Glez. Cruz, 35610

In this small town you will knotice a big white blob.

Now many years ago my grandma had a place just around the corner from there, I spent many a hour wondering what was on the other side of those big walls, from what I could see it was either a big abandaned public swimming pool, a weird and wonderfull house, or some kind of weird military building!

Whatever it was it looked amazing, looked like it hadn't been touched for years, big 20 foot walls all around etc.

Anyone have any info for me?

Thanks

Taken from http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/ubbthreads.php?ubb=show...

"It was a water park. The entire area was a new development for villas and apartments for tourists, but, somehow, it didnd't have much success. One can see today that there are many spaces without buildings.
So there wasn't enought people to visit it and it closed shortly after opening and it is still closed."

Not that I'm in a postision to but I wonder if the place would be up for sale?

Would make such an amazing holiday home! Its has a few big glass buildings that would make a really cool apartment, would need a bit of tlc I bet!

Can anyone actually find any pictures of the place?

The missus and I accidently went on holiday to Nuevo Horizonte a coupla yrs back... We scaled the wall and had a mooch round this place. Figured out it was some sort of waterpark fail. Frankly, it was a lot like the rest of Fuerta that I saw... W@nk.

Never again.
