Off to Brands on 12th for a track day and while checking the car over noticed that only 5 or 6mm of break pad left, looking to take some with me to change there if needed but which to get.

Use is mainly road but the occaisional track day as well, has any one tried Red Stuff, I have heard that Green Stuff are a no no but what about Red Stuff?

Good. When just rolling about, warming up the car for instance, you just treat them as
normal pads. I forgot they had been changed until I had driven for twenty minutes.
I had new disks aswell so will monitor wear.

I had red stuff, I found them excellent, with no squeaks or squeels, worked very well and got even better once warmed up.

I had red stuff aswell, they don't come anywhere near these.
The progressive pedal feel is better as is the power available.

Thanks to Nick and all for their answers, are the pads from Brummie £400 a set better, got a quote from local parts dealer for Circa £90 for front and back pads, about £150 for Yellow Stuff pads.

Track use will be limited to a few times a year and are the Brummie Pads really worth £400 more for raod use? If so I may just need some?

Will also need tyres, what do people rate in here T1R?

I was quoted around £50 for the front and £40 for the rears, seemed cheap so I asked for confirmation and the bloke behind the counter turned his screen round and that was what it said.

I read this as saying that the cheapest 4016 is 106.89 per pad so 4 needed for the front.

Please tell me if I am being daft but it certainly say that to me, if they are half that then I think I may just have a set?
