Pre- cat heater motor .

Has anyone fitted a different make of heater motor,the one behind the headlamp ? Mine is the original vauxhall nova motor which is knacked.

Can't see the point of changing it for the sake of it, rather than replacing it.
If you can sort out some plumbing to route the air up over the wing it has more than enough oomph.
