Hi there,

Spent the day in the office today as it was my turn for a Saturday

The phones were quiet and the mountain of paperwork I had to catch up on just didn't look appealing so instead my son and I built his latest toy.

He had seen a month or two ago that HPI were launching a 1/10 scale GT3 RS bodyshell that would fit his radio controlled car, finally one of the local shops got it into stock and it arrived with us earlier in the week. There was only one choice for him when it came to paint colour, it had to be Viper Green.

Heres some pics of it, complete with a home made roll cage that he put together and I painted for him when I painted and decalled the shell.

Love doing these its about the fifth or sixth I have done this year.

He is going to fit some working LED front lights tomorrow as well. biggrin

Regards

Tim

Looks very nicely finished to me.

You mentioned lighting. One question: are the headlight stickers on your model the right way up?

That looks excellent - if it wasn't for the four posts sticking up (are they the body mountings?) you wouldn't evem know it was R/C!!

HINT: Paint the inside of the body black, it'll look much better.

+1 to cutting down the body posts. Other than that looks great.. wish I could mask/ paint/ trim shells that good when I was doing it.. mind you wish I could drive well enough not to need a new one after every meeting lol
