Gawd Forgive me......anyone recommend some Scales?

Sorry for this boys and girls, just trying to do the simple task of replacing a set of bathroom scales (and no I did not break them with my fat arse, before you all start
)
Plenty about but the old inter-web is full of conflicting reviews.
All I want is a decent electronic set that folks own and consider accurate (repeatedly) and that don't cost the earth.

Salter seem pretty good.
Last ones we got were Salter electronic ones with a stone tile effect surface and they were excellent (until the O/H dropped a heavy glass bottle on them and cracked them) - which reminds me we need to get another set...
Bought them from John Lewis who had a good range.
Previously we'd splashed out a bit on a Soehnle model, but we ended up getting them replaced under the warranty as they stopped working. The second time when the replacements stopped after a couple of years, we got the Salter ones and they'd been flawless. Reason we didn't get Soehnle was that John Lewis didn't then stock a suitable replacement model....
The Salter ones also came with a 10 or 15 year guarantee. Our first Soehnle ones had a 10 year (failed after 5), the replacement - identical model had only a 5 year and they failed after 2 years.
I know we'll be getting Salters again. Think they were around £20. The Sohnle ones had been £80-£90
Finally, I wouldn't bother with these models that advise you what to eat etc.. I certainly only want the things to tell me accurately my weight, not enter into a discussion about what they think I've been eating/drinking, whether they consider me to be overweight, and to show me a graph of weight over the last few months etc..

We have a pair of these which not only look good but are wall mounted so they don't use up any space on the worktop. Not sure how accurate they are as never teseted against anything else! They are still on the original set of batteries and we have had them for 3 years this Christmas. The infra red link is really clever too
