My rad needs to be done too, a bit leaky, I've never even looked at how it comes out though (it didn't seem too bad on a series 1 with the removeable air dam). Let me know how you get on...
Adam , I've got the rad back in now with new pipes on and hopefully got rid of any air locks , a bit of a pain to do but great sense of achievement ! If you need any help just e- mail Did you get a new rad, or get the existing one redone? Where did you go?
With the hoses from ACT, did you have to give lengths of every single piece? When I phoned for a quote for one of their advertised 'kits', they told me to go and measure everything! Have they put your order in as a standard 'kit' now?

Steve , got the rad re- cored by a local setup used by the bloke who gets my everyday car serviced/mot'd , the silicone plus stainless pipes were the standard one for a 450se with a z shaped stainless pipe , £190 inc vat .With the hoses from ACT, did you have to give lengths of every single piece?
