Rossion Q1

In the Sunday Times motoring section today there is an article on the Rossion Q1. Righthand drive versions have been sold to South Africa, New Zealand and Australia and the company expects to have European small-volume type approval in about 6 months time after which the car will be sold in the UK at about £86,500. There is also a short piece on the Noble M600 which is very complimentary.

And "over 300 engineering changes" (including side impact protection beams) on the M400, 50 US cars already delivered, 0-60mph in 3.1s and topping out at 189mph claimed - cool

I thought that Rossion did not have the rights to deliver to the UK - something to do with the commercial arrangements with Noble ?

I have recently visited Rossion and know the team there pretty well. I just bought the last remaining M400 unbuilt chassis here in the US and it should be ready by the end of this year. I am having the M400 built with the Rossion Q1 engine package. The Q1 is a gorgeous car and they have improved on the Noble M400 for street use considerably. Its a great car. I also believe that part of the deal with Noble was that Rossion can not distribute directly to the UK, but they can to the rest of europe. This may have changed, but either way one would imagine 3rd party dealers could easily sell cars to the UK market.

There is a review in this months (Jan 2010) road and track. Sounds very nice...
