Porn mags in the undergrowth

Seasons greetings,

as a teenager, I recall well, being able to locate copious amounts of pornographic material in woodland, parks and alongside canals.

Now that I am married and a respectable member of society, I have not had the need to rummage around. Advent of the internet has helped, also, if I am honest.

Does this still go on?

Is there some kind of underground (pardon the pun) culture at play here? Some kind of unofficial secret society?

I remember that, it'd be like a well seasoned big game hunter, you could survey the land, and just know what areas you'd find a cache of grot mags.

According to Viz all discarded porn mags were rounded up and allowed to roam free in a special reserve somewhere.

In my first job a chap in the office gave me a lift up to the sandwich shop, as we got back in to the car he did this very slow drive round the edge of the car park. When I enquired what he was doing `looking for porn mag's'

The same office had a rather large box which was full of porn mag's which the old engineers 50+ would take on there 10am dump break.

When we were 13/14 a friend somehow got his mitts on a dirty magazine. I can't remember how. We were scared of being caught with it at home so we wrapped it in a plastic bag and hung it between a fence and a house amidst a thick ivy vine at a school our houses backed onto. I remember the slugs and snails got to it eventually

Yeah they where normally stuffed behind the skate ramps and behind beach huts. I always wondered though.... Whose the person buying these mags and then leaving them out side??? Never got that bit lol.

We didn't have to do that. When I was in high school there were a group of lads from my class who used to raid the dunpsters at the rear of the local WH Smiths (at least I think it was Smiths). Said dumpsters would contain old stock that was being sent for recycling. They'd arrive at school the next day with a huge selection of mags, any mags, including grot mags. They also made a tidy sum with a sideline in Pogs.

I Know where they all are now!!

They are hidden at the back of the drawers in Hotel Bedrooms around the world.

The reason I know this is once many moons ago on another of my business trips around Europe, I pulled the drawer too hard and the whole drawer fell on the floor.

At the back of the wardrobe was several Scandinavian porn mags!!

I have tried this on most hotels when I go on my travels, and often get a result.

In fact a few years ago I told my US boss when we were both on a trip to Norway, who said he did not believe me.

However when he went back to his room, he did manage to find a stash in his drawers too!!
