great movie, great music - wore out the vhs tape when I was a kid.
The CGI hasn't aged very well but has an almost retro charm now, and ground breaking at its time (released the year after return of the jedi)

I think this sort of thing shows just how advanced in terms of special effects Star Wars etc. was.
However, it's a cracking film.....................
It's been a long while (I saw this one when it came out) but wasn't it the first movie with effects generated entirely by computer? Star Wars may have looked better but I guess they were still using "traditional" methods.However, it's a cracking film.....................
