I've finally got my hands on some callitso wheels, im really happy with them but not sure what i should do, keep them the colour they are or get them put back to all silver? Took some pictures yesterday as i was fitting them, haven't got the center caps yet but should have them this week.

Before

After

Is it standard for Gallardos to only have a badge on one wing? :/

When i took the picture i had only put one side on and changed one of the indicators so i could compare sides.

with a yellow car titanium rims are a must, whether its callisto or cassiopea (spelling???). Whatever you do definitely change them from how they look now as I think they detract from the car

Hi george ,

I think the diamond cut outer edge is spoiling the look of the dark wheels imo .

I could not decide from just the couple of pics , black and dark colour wheels normaly work very well against the yellow and orange colours on gallardos and the fact there is matt black grills and trims all over the car usually matches well , i think thats why the polished wheel lip stands out for me and looks slightly odd.

Of course yellow brakes would look good behind dark wheels thou wink

I have not forgot george just really busy at the mo .

Thanks for your opinions, i think im swaying towards the idea of having them put back to the original silver colour at the moment.

George good to see you today thumbup

Here are some pics i have found on the net , to back up what i said to you that black or dark wheels on your car would look good wink

Both types of wheels but i think the non split rims (early wheels) look better in black .

hope this helps

Kelly

anthracite is by far the best colour for wheels.

don't go with black - titanium/anthracite is the best option

Good to meet you the other day kelly, thanks for the pictures.
Think your right, dark wheels definatly would look good on my car as its yellow.
Will have to do some thinking and hopefully get something done in the new year.
