M reg C200 Problem......any ideas?

Hi All,

A friends C200 has an idling problem whereas the car hunts at tick over and occasionally stalls even once hot? Checked all the usual suspects, plugs, leads, vacuum pipes ect but no joy. Ideas anybody??

Air mass?

You may be right, although I may have stupidly assumed they have cleaned this

Throttle body it clean. Thats the first thing we checked. Is there any way of checking the air mass sensor?

On a star diagnosis machine or similar diagnostic, dont just read the faults. check the actual values.
