Hopefully we won't be hearing from him again and someone will now take over the task of returning Donington to a state where it can be used again.

Shame this all had to happen the way it did, but Silverstone have got a longer agreement out of it.

ok, what do people think of general admission to silverstone, should i get a camping ticket and 3 day pass or just sunday? I can't decide!

If the figures of £12m, 5% escalation and 17 years are to be believed, then in 2027 it will cost them £37.9m to stage at which time they will have paid Ecclestone a total of £400m for the whole contract!!

I can’t see how that can be viable.

I wonder if in some strange way, this whole Silverstone / Donnington thing has been good for the sport... Silverstone now have a 17 year deal, and will invest more heavily than before....
