Da vinci designed it on paper hundreds of years ago, the army for an art project built and tested it out!

Typical french warfare though, moved slower than walking pace!

5 reverse gears & 1 forward? (forward gear just in case they are sneakily attacked from behind?) wink

Currently at the da vinci exhibition in Manchester museum of Science & Industry. They showed a video as part of the exhibit of the soldiers building and running it- so your mate will be in there.

Certainly a cunning plan. However, is there a minor flaw? What if the dastardly enemy types were unsporting enough to put a step or a ditch between themselves and the leetle tank?.
Wouldn't stop the bullets but makes infantry support a problem.

Come to think of it, if I were in infantry support I'd be worried in case the barrel pointed at me happened to go off. 'Ooops! sorry mate'.
With all the black powder being detonated it would be like a thick fog on the battlefield.

guns seem to have no elevation, sooo lie down, elbow crawl up to it, jump up between the guns, up onto the roof and piss in the hole in the top.
bosh.

In his original design the drive to the wheels would have opposed each other too.

But it was one of his "Deliberate mistakes" cos he was that clever. smile

No, my mate built it, as in fabricated it all, then it got sent to the Tank Museum for the soldiers there to assemble and run about in!

He also built a V2 Rocket, lifesize replica!

Arrr that must be the urban camouflage version!

..Its built out of wood FFS! I could take that out with a box of swan vestas and a tin of lighter fluid!
