Any ideas for a ladies watch (small face), steel or platinum with diamonds (bezel and\or face)? I've looked at the usual suspects, Omega, Tag, etc but can't quite bring myself to pay £1500 for a quartz watch. My wife's not really a brand snob so what I'm really looking for is an auto watch with diamonds for £1500. Oris have quite a nice ladies auto for £1k but at 30mm it's probably too big.

Any thoughts or do I bite the bullet and spend over £2k on an auto from one of the better known brands?

Thanks

Anthony

I know I recommend Christopher Ward a lot, but their diamond watches seem very competitive: http://www.christopherward.co.uk/women/diamond/vie...

I see there's a 15% off sale today also.

I bought my wife the Omega Constellation with mop face and diamond bezel. It is a quartz but from what I have seen you don't get autos in a very small size (she has very small wrists). It's a shame because as you say it is a fair amount to spend on a quartz; it is a very pretty watch though.

Just out of interest, JLC invented the 101 in 1929, the Queen was wearing one when she was crowned (so tiny -88 parts, 1 gram), she lost two before this one. May be that Breguet/PP have bettered it since, but you can het small autos. Mind you, a 101 is about £20,000...14x4x3mm

what about a second hand Rolex datejust - really elegant. I think the bimetal looks fab on a woman. I don't think you will get diamonds for your budget. Maybe also wait til after xmas as prices are bouyant around this time of year.

Wifey has a Rolex one, but wants something a big bigger - so she is getting this for XMAS

Has anybody dealt with these people before:

Company exists but was only set up in January. Prices seem very good.
