Literally spat tomato soup on my keyboard about 10 mins ago when I was reminded of the time 7 of us got kicked out of a Physics lesson for various incidents of poor behaviour or 'disruptive behaviour'.
Only to tell the stand in Physics teacher that it was a sponsored get kicked out of class for NSPCC - imagine how brilliant it was for her to ask why we didnt tell her beforehand and give us £3 for the cause.
Jelly snakes were on her!

Had that when I was being a "volunteer" while someone demonstrated something at a conference. Coulda been worse, I suppose...

I had a particularly s
t day today and have barely cracked a smile let alone spoke to anyone - except when, for some reason, I thought back to when I was an apprentice about 4-5 years ago.
I bought a rubber poo - a very realistic rubber dog poo - probably flown by Tom Cruise out of Hong Kong - that I was determined to 'get' someone with.
In the end I added it in amongst the sandwiches of the inspection team leaders lunch box. This guy is a lovely jolly fellow who was always eating/picking at his food up until lunch time. Thinking I'd get a quick giggle I sat back and watched but nothing, not even looking at it for hours. He didn't go near his lunch box until lunch time.
So 12:30 on the dot he sits back in his chair, gets his book out of his drawer, settles his reading glasses on his nose and with the book open at his current position he pops the lid with one hand and reaches in. Just as his hand gets inside, he glances in and his hand promptly jumps back out and about 2 foot up in the air and he shrieks with a mixture of surprise and disgust.
He heard/saw me quite literally
across the room and swore lots then got back to his lunch.
It's funny how memories like that pop back for no reason.
