Hi all, I have recently bought a Noble and it would be great if you could tell me if there are any meets planned for next year? I'm not using the car over the winter as the roads are in a right state where I live. I'm currently booked in for the Le Mans Classic. Still can't get rid of the smile from my face from the few drives I've had! Not seen another one on the road and would be interested to know if anyone else has one in the Melton Mowbray area of Leicestershire?

HI. I guess most will be parked up in the winter. Its going to feel like a life time waiting to get it back on the road. I had an old Porsche before this and can't get used to the reaction you get when you drive through a town!

Thanks for the kind welcome. My car is silver or grey can't make my mind up yet! I have a picture of my daughter next to a silver Noble at Ashby taken this year. It had slightly tinted windows. It was parked in the field opposite the cricket pitch next to a Ferrari. Any tips on storing the car over winter? Cheers Troy

Welcomewavey

I live in Kegworth so not far away from Melton.
I bought my car in September so havn't had much of a chance to use it this year, I took my brother for a blast last weekend and had a bit of a moment on a wet road, nothing serious but enough to make my heart beat twice as fast as it should! Car is now safely tucked up in the garage until the roads dry out.

Looking forward to next year, looks like we should be able to get a few cars together in the east mids! Anybody know when the first Ashby Folville meet will be?

Not sure when Ashby starts but I can find out. There’s a very good place to meet up in the summer near me. Its a local brewery in Old Dalby with a car park they open up for car clubs to meet. They do some good food and would probably do some kind of discount.

There's also the Mucky Duck, with good facilities. Often over that way quadding along the Viking Way. Some great lanes over Dalby, Borrough Hill etc.

Hi and welcome. Just make sure you have the battery on a trickle charger if you're not driving the car. Otherwise you'll have a flat battery within a couple of weeks.

There`s plenty of cool ,dry winter days to go out in the Nobles. A couple of us proud owners from Leicester often go out for a lunchtime blat at weekends so if you email me your tel. no. then we`ll come over your side for some pub grub, if you fancy it?
Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve, I'm almost tempted to tax it just for the odd hour or so. It will be a killer if I can't get out on a dry day. The only problem I have is the roads in my village are completely covered in mud most of the time. Farmers!! Still be good to meet up though if you do get out. My numbers are 01664 464143 or 07714 222109. I've put the car on a trickle charger. Cheers, Troy

My daughter looved your car, she didn't stop talkin about it. Now she can't get enough of going out in mine but I get a speeding lecture from my wife every time we go out. I take her to Preswold Hall to see the cars at the Everyman place at the weekends. I don't know where she gets it from!
