My sister is doing a degree and has a questionnaire up online to be filled in for her final year dissertation. I was wondering if you kind guys and girls of PH would mind filling it in. It's all to do with healthy eating and our perception of that in different places around the country. She is also giving £50 to the most popular charity (out of 10) that you can vote for at the end of the questionnaire. It only takes 5 mins to do.

If you wouldn't mind, that would be fantastic.

I have just filled it out.

One thing I would say re part 3 where it asks how often do you eat certain food groups. It gives you the option of never, sometimes, quite often etc. These are not easily quantifiable and different people will interpret them in different ways. Could she change it to, once a day, once a week etc.

I know we should have posted it on here sooner!!

Unfortunately, she has already had some responses, so I doubt she would want to as it would invaldiate the previous responses.

Thank you though - something I'm sure she can use in her discussion!!

Thank you very much guys - really appreciate it!!

I think part of the reason she wasn't too exact about what sometimes/a lot etc means is she maybe analysing your perception of it too or some such stuff?!?! (no, she's not doing psychology!!)

Daveenty - I'll have a go at her for being mean if you like wink

Link doesn't work for me. Or are they blocking overseas IP addresses/just looking for responses from within the UK?

Some feedback Mr. Moose,

1. Typically the BMI does not account for people involved in gym activity, never a fan of the BMI readings. (not just cause it said I was a fat barsteward!)

2. I have done a few of these surveys for various friends and collegues and usually there is no right or wrong answers fedback to the person inputing information. What I mean is you have correctly posted the link here to help your sister out, but typically PH being PH, it will shortly turn into a competition to see who can get the highest score, which will mean she may not get the unbiased answers she was looking for.

3. I would also reiterate the comment made above regarding timescales.

Anyway best of luck to her and hope all goes well. drink

1. I know what you mean, and it also doesn't take into account many many other things. The reason BMI was picked was because it is the Government used figure and (this is my basic understanding) the analysis will compare the actual results vs. the message the Government are trying to push. Not to mention that the 'normal' BMI ranges have changed over the years to suit!!

2. I guess this is true. She is trying to feedback with the BMI/score pages, but, maybe you're right - there should have been a table with the right answers. To be brutally honest, I would doubt many people would be interested. I will suggest we post the answers on the URL after the questionnaire has closed, but it is a bit late now!! Also true on the scoring front - can't argue with you there!!

3. Same reply!

Sunbeam_Alpine - I don't know why it isn't working for you...but it is definately not blocking overseas IP Addresses...

Thanks for helping out chaps - any more would be gratefully received.

Cheers
