Forza 3 - Wheel options

I'm thinking about getting a wheel for christmas to use with forza. Although I would like a shifter as I can't see the fappy paddle gearbox idea working well for me (I have to drive with virtually one hand having lost the majority of control of my right side due to a disability I have had since birth.) So what are my options for a wheel, shifter and pedals for the 360.

alot of the wheels have a shifter off to the side... and its normally on the right not sure if that would be any good to you. if not then i guess any wheel and auto would be workable!

I want to start to use a manual box, because I can't keep up with you lot using auto. But thanks anyway. I'm sure i'll find a way around it

All of the wheels have flappy padles, but all of them are one per side, so you may have issues with that. I cant think of any of the pre-set options that allow you to alter the button config to changing gears is both on the one side of the wheel?
