Here it is , the second one of these I've owned , same colour as the first , which was a 99V. Sold in 2005 and have been wanting it back ever since so here is the replacement.

I was not overly keen on the E60 alloys at first . I planned on sourcing some original 18's , but I think they are growing on me.

Angel eyes, always like these , never had them on the last one and was too tight to upgrade

Last but not least Blue Flame rear silencers , lovely V8 burble

It's the black / grey interior with widescreen Sat Nav and ( obsolete analogue) TV . + a host of other I.C.E added by the previous owner , rear screens etc

Very pleased so far , if anyone likes the look of those wheels and has a set of Genuine E39 M5 wheels they want to swap feel free to PM me

Not a fan of the wheels myself, love the car though. That exhaust looks like it means business!

great car but the wheels don't look right, you need some Chrome Shadows (65M)

overall a better looking car than the E60 imo

Nice one, but not keen at all on the mesh in the kidneys and lower scoop.

Or the ///M badge on the front lower grill.

Nice car and I think the wheels look ok on the car, keep them as spare winters.

I love Silverstone Blue. Get it back to stock (wheels/grilles) and you have a superb car there biggrin

Leave the exhaust though. Every M needs a silly exhaust.

lovely car, dislike the wheels (shadow chromes would be nicest) and the front grill in mesh does it no favours IMHO

Good man. That would be exactly what I'd plan to do with it.

The standard wheels look brilliant. Can't imagine why anyone would want to change them.

One of the better colours for an E39 M5. Love the mesh grill personally.

Black / Grey two tone leather with aluminuim / silver inserts where the wood would normally be .

Thanks for the comments so far , the wheels and the mesh trim are not really something I would have done myself , but the previous owner liked them . They turned out to be a good bargaining tool in the end and I managed to negotiaite accordingly.

Please do, the M5 needs no cosmetic 'additions'.
