I based fairly close to you - Wakefield. Feel free to give me a shout if your in this neck of the woods & call in for a brew & chat.

My S is in it's 'winter state' at the minute (translated: in bits in the garage )

That was how I lived my life with the MG but apart from the need for a new clutch slave its my intention to stay on the road for the winter for a change! Best laid plans however...

To be fair, I enjoy the winter 'tinkering' nearly as much as the summer driving - keeps me out of the way of SWMBO in the evenings

I'm also learning 'basic' mechanics as I go along - am planning a full 'body off' project next winter

No I'm well north of you but I do work just south of Huddersfield so a summer evening meet is possible

Chaps - as a potential future owner it would be great to meet some of you - we have regular Pistonhead meets in Yorkshire, you would be very welcome. Bit quiet over winter but we have a pub meet next Monday night. When your cars are all working it owuld be great to see you there so I can have a look at your cars!
