Bmw X5 Stereo Common Fault, Anyone Reapair bm54 Amp

I have a 2004 Facelift bmw x5 3.0d sport 44k with sat nav, Only the front left speaker works on my stereo, i beleive its the ampilifer BM54, this is the bmw i have had with this problem, they cost about 600 quid plus surcharge from bmw which is a total joke, does anybody know if they can be repaired or very cheap second hand one, beleive a small audio in manchester can do it but buy wiring all speakers thru left hand speaker, which i dont want to do,
any help on this matter would be gateful
looked thru other topics/post to find related matter with no joy?

Had the same a couple of years ago, couldn't find any one to repair, sorted with a 2nd hand one off ebay, but be warned they go for good money (think we paid just shy of £300 for one)

Want to find some one who repairs them or knows how to repair them for future reference, heard about maybe re soldering them? anyone heard that?
