E30 buyers guide

Hi folks, I am looking at getting an E30 318is in the new year. Does anyone know of any buyers guide or know where to look for problems & rust. Cheers

On the rust issue, rear arches , front arches and jacking points, bulkhead (behind glove box), footwells and generally the whole front floor, sunroof panel, in the boot under the jack and the well on the other side, door edges, rust round the windscreen & cracked scuttle panel, front panel behind the bumper, the panel.
Check everywhere, most of these cars are 19+ years old now.

Your best bet, and sorry to point you in the direction of another web should be the E30 zone which has loads of information, a buyers guide and even a for sale section where you might find the car your looking for. Found it most useful when I bought my 325.
