I've just purchased my first TVR - ('97 chimaera 4.0) from RaceTech in Sonning Common - thanks to everyone for their advise a few weeks back. I'd like to fit a different dashboard and have seen one for sale - are they easy to fit or will I end up with bits of speedometer and fuel guages left over at the end..... (?)

Tonyrec (PH name) recently did his - do a search of his postings for info. Looks very nice. Also, my website has pics of how to get the dashtop off - not hard. Probably a bit fiddly doing the gauges, but nothing too taxing.

Welcome to the Forum.

It is quite straighforward to fit a new Dash. The main thing is to take your time and you shouldnt have a problem.

Theres always plenty of advice available on here if you happen to bump into a problem.

If you bought a red one from them with the 'modded' exhaust, don't worry about the dash, you should be standing around the back grinning at that exhaust note
