punto no spark

My mate has a fiat punto which is mis firing. 1.2 engine I had a look at it and ignition coil 1 has power going into it but nothing coming out, Its not the coil as this has been replaced by a new one. any ideas?

You did check both plugs on that coil for output, yes?

i believe the coils failing is common on the 1.2 Punto engine, takes out the ecu aswell

we had one go, swapped out the coil, still was missing on two cylinders, swapped the ecu (easy job) and the replacement kicked into life.
