Rest of December - What shoud I doll?!
Discussion
Hi All,
Due to changing jobs I have from now until the start of January off. I'm chilling this week (bits and bobs to do on the house, shopping, etc).
This leaves quite a period of time i'd prefer not to waste. Don't want to go on holiday really as most friends are working right up until Xmas.
Any suggestions as to what to do:
- Charity work - work in old persons shop
- Think of own business ideas
- Chose topic to learn and self teach
What else? This is the first time I have had time to do as I please with ever! What would you do?
[Mods please can you add an 'l' to the title, please

What?
Oh FFS!
You are busy this week, with some 'bits and bobs', so that takes you up to the 11th. There's then a week, and Friday of the following week is Christmas day, followed by a weekend and then a bank holiday Monday and the following Friday (you would have had these off even if you did have a job, I presume?)
So between now and "the start of Janauary" you have next week, four days the next, and three days the next.
Do you really need advice in how to fill less than two weeks?!
Buy a Sudoku book

Or....
Road trip.
If you are on a budget, YHA membership (youth hostels often have a decent pub nearby)
Drive up the east coast, all the way to the north coast of Scotland, back down the west via Islay (cough nice single malt cough). Up at dawn for some good photos...
Xmas shopping in Glasgow if you haven't done it yet.
Back down to Carlisle; across the roman roads to A1.
