Jacket Potato - next day
Discussion
Lets say I make a Jacket Potato at home in the oven but I want to eat it tomorrow at work (where I can microwave it to warm it up)
What is the ebst way to store it for the next 18 odd hours - fridge?
Will it go off/taste like crap either way?
I wouldn't just microwave an uncooked potato because they don't taste nice!

Too late, in all probability, but those plastic air-tight containers (Tupperware or similar) are great for this- the main thing is to keep the air away from the food.
And, whack it in the fridge as soon as you can pick it up is safest- time at room temperature is bad, and modern fridges and freezers can cope with the load*. Just don't plonk it on your raw chicken.

- You can do a little better by putting the container in a sink full of cold water for a few minutes to cool it more quickly.
