Identified differences include,

Front/rear tow hooks (Euro)
Rear fog lamps (Euro)
Front side lamps (Euro)
Front fender indicators (Euro)
Rear lamp colors (obviously!)
Back-up lamp location
Keyless entry (Not Euro)
Twilight Sentinel (Not Euro)
Auxiliary electrical outlet (Not Euro)
Track width reduced half inch [?] (Euro)

Any others...
eg Headlamp system? Exhaust?

Take a look at my RPO Codes and compare the difference.

Yes, the European cars have an improved set of headlamps. We have H4 bulbs and rectangular glass, not sure what the US use - could look at the set Nige junked I guess !

The trouble with 5usa's list is that on our 02 euro we have twilight sentinel, and an aux power output in the centre arm rest, and if by key less entry you mean remote central locking we have that as well. if not then please explain.

I think the euros had the zo6 breaks in later years and possibly the up rated suspension as well fitted as standard.

Ps we have the side body mouldings on ours as well so fit into the other 50% that seems to be at about 25% given the other posts so far...

I guess I should have said Passive Keyless Entry which automatically unlocks the car as you walk towards it and locks it as you walk away.

p77 of my Owner's Manual says "The accessory power outlet is located in the front left side of the center console storage compartment [Yes]. Your vehicle is also equipped with an accessory power plug located behind a panel at the top left corner of the passenger's footwell [Nope, nothing there]".

Same Manual p214 says the RPO codes are "on the cover of the left rear storage compartment". Nope, they're in the glove box. Thanks Nuro for the details. BTW the codes are real easy to check out through Google.

Yes, the Euro cars do have wheels with a different offset to bring them in half an inch (Lu51fer) and there does seem to be a Euro exhaust for noise control - Shame!. Cars for UK differ in production from other Euro cars.

I have a US spec 02 convertible that I need to "go Euro" when I come home. Interested in a couple of things from the list. How do the tow hooks front & rear fit? Does the front licence plate kit bolt into the standard housing? Anyone know the difference between the Euro front fender sidelight and the US spec?

Tow hooks are welded to the chassis. Front one is an eye-sore sticking out next to the front right fog lamp. I'm very tempted to saw mine off but haven't yet done it. I don't think they're needed for SVA.

Licence plate kit supplied is a mysterious object and I have never felt the need to use it! Front plate can just be stuck on.

Front fender lamps I've never been sure about but am fairly confident US and Euro are different. I suspect it may be nothing more than which bulb position is used for what - ie marker lamp or indicator. Anyone who's converted a US C5 should be able to answer this definitively.
