I'm looking at a 2001 LeMans blue with 80K miles. Its a very good condition car, with full service history (booked stamped) but no paper work, and no sat nav. I know the owner and he has had the car for one year and spent a lot of money on its first service in his ownership, making sure it's in mechanical top condition.

I've had a quick look at the classifieds but wouldn't mind a the forums input on its value.

Thanks in advance.

As the owner of a 2001 Le Mans blue with 70k miles I'd say it's worth about £20,000 biggrin but then I'm biased.

I know that's not much help.

Sorry.

It is a facelift car isn't it?

Assuming it is in decent condition and doesn't require a service then around £9,500 is probably the right ballpark.

Sat-Nav in these cars is less of a deal breaker than it used to be. Normally falls into the category of "nice to have" but better is a recently serviced and well maintained example.

After all your buying it for the car not the sat-nav

I agree on your comments about the Sat Nav, it doesn't bother me at all as its poor in the E39.

I was going to say 9k, which is what others were thinking too - pretty much.

Based on this http://pistonheads.com/sales/1367327.htm older but low millage car I'd have thought it will be worth between £8-9K

I really quite fancy one of these and they look good value at the moment.
