This from the BBC newsdesk;

"Tory MP James Arbuthnot claimed £43.56 for three "four piece garlic peelers" from shopping channel QVC."

I cannot decide which is most disturbig,

Is it that we learn yet more MP's have their snouts in the trough?

Is it only the reasoning of someone with a mental problem that would pay £43.56 for a garlic peeler?

Or is it that a leading "political representitive" of a chunk of the UK buys such "quality" items from QVC?

At least he was going after a good deal, those garlic peelers are £65 in Harrods and £72 in Fortnum & Masons.

I dont really care about the quality, or even that he claimed for them, I am however very concerned that our one of our MP's has enough time to watch the fking shopping channel

In all fairness, this chap's a conservative MP, so unless mandelson's got something on him, he's out of the direct sphere of winky's influence

Here's another good one.

Order-Order said:
Labour toff Quentin Davies attempted to claim over £20,000 for repairs to the bell tower on his £5 million country seat Frampton Hall. The government minister was clearly somewhat confused by the rules of what is and isn’t in the realms of totally unacceptable. Nor is it the first time he has got into a muddle, he once described Gordon as “a leader I have always greatly admired, who I believe is entirely straightforward, and who has a towering record, and a clear vision for the future of our country which I fully share.”

People need to stop whining and let shooting do the speaking.

A few dead MP's would see the rest pulling their socks up. rageshoot
