Console Game of the year - '09

Yes, it's another 'Game of' thread, but slightly different to the other one - as we approach the end of another decent gaming year, which game has been the highlight for you?

Anyway, the nominations are above.

My vote is for Uncharted, partly because instead of following this new found trend of concentrating the whole game on the online aspect, Naughty dog have made a game with a fantastic story line that doesn't last 5 minutes, Constantly delivering constant on-the-edge of your seat twists and turns.

Oh and the graphics...

Won't vote as I've yet to play Uncharted 2, saving my copy until Christmas Eve. But out of the remaining choices, I'd choose MW2.

Hard choice between Forza 3, COD:MW2 and Batman AA....


Think i'd feel dirty voting for anything other than forza though

i put shift... as...

Forza is great but i dont really feel envolved in the driving as much as i was in shift. and in Cod i feel there are too many cheats/bugs and glitches in it that completely take away from what is a great game.

Shift was the only game this year that i really really enjoyed driving.

if i had more cars and more tracks and a greater following which included a better online game it would be the best..

As a HUGE fan of Forza 2 I was expecting to say FM3 at this point, however I have to say I'm enjoying MW2 much more.

I love Forza and MW2 and play these at the moment and enjoy them BUT Batman Arkham Asylum is something different. I never expectd it to be as godo as it was. and not many games I finished then go back and try again until the end
