How much holiday have you taken in 2009?

[Ayahuasca]

Me, four days.

I am owed 40 days!

Still, if you count time on PH then it is at least a month.

Moddy Note: this is NOT a 'holiday' discussion.

[shirt]

31 days apparently, including bank holidays. i owe then 8 days.

[Devilstreak]

I only just realised I have 10 days left to take off between now and the 31st. Wahooo

[wombat172a]

32 days including lieu days

I've still got 12 days holiday, and 5 lieu days to take. Don't think I'm going to get an oppurtunity to take them though.

[normalbloke]

All of it!

[Mello]

I made it my primary work objective to never, ever not take my full holiday entitlement during my entire career (nearly 35 years). I can't believe others don't.

Retiring at the end of the month. Goodbye tension, hello pension

[st_files]

Not including bank holidays - 25 days.

To the OP, how have they let you accrue so much holiday? Are they letting you carry it into 2010?

[Mr MoJo]

Not enough

[crofty1984]

I have no idea. Working in an Italian office has it's benefits.

[Samcat]

All of it gone, that's 10 floating days, 17 shutdown days, plus 7 Bank Holidays. Get them taken they're yours.

[lawrence567]

We get all the standard bank holidays in England plus 20 days.
I have 5 1/2 days left.
I have a half day tomorrow and the whole of next week off.
Then back for 4 1/2 days, then off for xmas!
& return on the 4th Jan.

[Big Rod]

I have 17.5 days to take before the end of the year or I lose them and 160 hours of TOIL.

Don't think I've had enough time off this year TBH.

[Jackpot]

I used up all my holidays in March. I've taken a load of unpaid since as well.

I'm heading off for 3 months on the 26th so that's all of next years and more gone too.

But why not! Life isn't about work.

[tribbles]

41 - not including bank holidays - and I've got 1 day left to carry over to 2010.

But then we were asked to take some unpaid holiday to help us through this year - which I did.

[escargot]

4 days.

[Maxf]

Maybe 15 days - still have 15 to take by 31st Dec, but am too busy!

[Dupont666]

2 days... but spent Jan 1st - 17th May not working and enjoying life, so technically I might have had a little holiday

[voyds9]

Work for myself stepped up to 6days a week and only taken 7 days holiday including bank holidays. (taking 2 more days this weekend to take wife away)

[sday12]

365.

[Loaded1me]

I'm confused. I thought all holiday years ran the same as the financial year, e.g. 6th Apr 2009 - 3rd Apr 2010 (4th Apr being a Sunday, the 5th Apr 2010 being the new financial year).
I've never come across the calendar year being the the time scale.

Oh well you learn something new everyday.
