99 Fiat Punto 1.2 16v Sporting fogging up inside

Hi all im after some advice when i put my heater on in the car to clear the screen it fogs up it does slowly clear but not all of it even on no4 blower it has had the head gasket done 5k ago i also get a smell when its on hot almost like rusty water the temp guage is sat at 1/4 just for info any advice please and a cheap fix would be great

Hi just wondered if any one else had any more input into the above issue forgot to add the screen does start to clear with warm air just not all the way and the car is not losing any water. thanks chris

Have you tried putting a dehumidifier in the car for a couple of days? I lent mine to my mate when his XK8 sprung a door seal leak and you wouldn't believe how much water it got out of there

Thank you i have put some Kseal in and i think it was the was the matrix and it seems to have done the job its fantastic stuff thanks for your replies
