Anybody up for this? Just booked myself on https://www.trackdays.co.uk/tracks/bedford.htm
I know the noise limit is a pain, but if you can pass that it's great track, especially for novices (me) or those new to the noble (me again!). I couldn't resist at £79!
Would love to see a few other Nobles there or if you just fancy coming down to chat that would be great to.

The noise limit cause most with uprated exhausts a problem. A mate with a 911T had to have these made 
makes his car look like a wheel barrow, but they did the job. Not sure if this an option for you Phil, but I wouldn't mind seeing what 500+ bhp is like

Totally disagree, A few of us did Bedford last month and it was a cracking day. We did the international circuit (4.2mile) and there was not many cars passing the nobles that were out thats for sure. There was even a 900 brake skyline on slicks that couldnt get away from us either! it just washed out on every corner.
mrdemon I'm interested to know what did you find so "****" about it? I've been before and as Stella Artois said had an amazing day and thoroughly enjoyed it. From your video it looked like you were having fun to me
. I suppose you could complain it's completely flat, but this and loads of run off is what makes it a great track for beginners. Although I have done track days before I have no doubts that my ability falls squarely in the novice catagory, hence why I chose it for my first time on a track in my noble.
I would have thought a Noble with a driver who has some ability would be pretty quick, which is why I was hoping some veterans would come and show me how it's done.

22nd feb sounds good as a novice track day chap. I've done the palmersport day there and would have thought their cars would have been over that 100db limit, so why the restriction ?
are most nobles above this level ? i presume if you book it then fail the noise test you dont get your £79 back ??

Noise limit is all to do with the local council, guess they would have to apply and pay when it reaches a certain level.
Reading through old posts if you have a standard exhaust with cats it shouldn't be an issue, most peoples stock systems coming in at 98db. Yes if you book and fail you won't get a refund.
I can borrow a mates sound tester if you want peace of mind. Essex is only a short blast around the M25 to Surrey where I live.
