I was under the impression you had to be a member before a particular date to post premium listings for free, although this may have changed ... I can't see anything on the classifieds that states a certain membership duration required

IIRC you have to register to post adverts now, as for premium they're only free if you were a member prior to it being announced otherwise you pay.
