18" or 19" Wheels
Discussion
They drive much better on 18"s (I've run on standard 19"s CSL 19"s and am back on 18"s).
But they look much sexier on 19"s, a good compromise is to stick with the 18"s and fit 15/10mm spacers front / rear, fills the arches nicely and dials out the understeer, I've had my 18"s powder coated anthracite which cheers them up a bit.

Im looking at buying an M3 but it only has 18inch wheels. Will I look like a bit of a girl if I drive an M3 with only 18inch wheels. I know its only an inch but it means a lot to me.
I have the latest M3 (last week delivered) and I have put 18" OEM wheels on for the winter. My 19" wheels will go on for better weather. I have posted a picture of the car with 18" wheels. Interestingly the launch cars available in Spain were on 18ins. rims as were many of the development E92's. However at the Ring all the training cars I saw were on 19ins. I think it is a cosmetic choice rather than anything to do with the dynamics, aided by dealers telling you 19ins are a must have for re-sale.

I actually think the 18" are very good looking (maybe the anthracite colour helps), even better than the standard 19".Completely impartial of course
