Bonnet wont open

im turning the silver knob but it just feels as though it unscrewing. to dark to see what happening but if anyone has any ideas please feel free to share them with me. Also if you can help with bonnet realise problem please feel free

The silver bonnet release knob turns a pair of rods that releases the bonnet. I presume you have tried lifting the bonnet and found that you cant as the rods are still in place? If this is the case then I guess you need to somehow remove the silver knob from within the vehicle and maybe you can then reach the rods?? Otherwise I am not sure if you can reach the rods by reaching under the bonnet edge? Or maybe if the car is up on ramps, from under the car??

looked this morning.. grub screw was lose that stops knob unscrewing.. tread on knob fairly striped. done grub screw really tight all fine now thanks
