Help identifying older '60s (?) Alfa
Discussion
Hi,
I was watching " The Champions" and was trying to identify a car which featured.
I'm thinking it was an Alfa but I'm not 100%.
The car can be seen about 1:50 into this clip.
This is close(ish) but I can't figure out the model.

Can anyone help?
Cheers,
Eric

Hi Eric
It's a Giulietta SS (or a Giulia SS if it's a later model).
Some blurb here:

I really like them. A friend has one that I have been trying to buy for years, but no luck. The design was very poorly received at the time of launch (another friend who worked for Alfa described them as a 'Tart's handbag car') and their racing history (for which they were originally built) was very poor. Zagato bodied an alternative- the SZ- that was much more successful in both departments.
I love the bonkers details- the plexiglass wind deflection screen at the top of the bonnet for example!
