I'm building a Peugeot 106 for BARC NWS&S and am now looking for an extinguisher.
I know that you shouldn't scrimp on safety but i don't want to get more than I need!
So, the question is, will a 2.25 litre tank do the job, or should I go for the 4litre jobbie?
Hopefully, never to be used!

Thanks Kev, I'm aware of that bottle and excellent price. However, I'm reluctant to buy it if it's not enough.

For a small car a 2.25litre bottle is adequate and is recommended in the blue book. In my Fiesta I use the Lifeline Club Fire Marshall plumbed in system which was about £100 for all the parts.

Again, thanks.
I'll get on to Rally Design and get it ordered!

If you want a good deal on Lifeline extinguishers, give Dermot Healy a call on 07703 162409.

I have the Rally design system in both my V8 Camaros and they are fine. I also have their 3" TRS belts at a very good price. Why pay more?

Cheers guys.
If they are suitable for a Camaro then I'm sure they'll do the job in a poxy 106.

I use the same lifeline system in my 106. Can say if its good enoguh as never had to use it, but such a small car and has the 2 jets so cant see it being a problem.

Thanks guys.
I ordered the Lifeline 2.25l from Rally Design on Tuesday- it arrived the next day (and now sits under the tree waiting to be opened!!)
