Folks, about to purchase 1st TVR. Other than personal taste/choice of spec any reason I shouldn't buy the mk2 3.6 at TVR MADS?

Hi,
Andy from the Bristol region bought a nice 3.6 Mk2 last year. It seems every bit as fast on the roads as my 4.0 as I had to drive like stink to keep up with him one evening!

All the speed six engines are quick and have their own characteristics - I am sure that somenoe on here will tell you those of the 3.6.

Good luck if you do buy it - it does look very nice!

James Birkby is a nice chap, he comes on here as TVRinBFG ... X-Works Service will probably have serviced the car.

That MK2 is pretty unique,I think it was the first, 'cos the bottom lights aren't covered.

Again thanks for positive reception about the decision. Not sure when I take delivery yet, got weddings and daft suchlike to try and work round. Hopefully before Christmas though.

very nice car. Good colour combo and something nice about the unique front.

I've spoken to dealer before regarding selling my car and he was a sound guy that knew his onions.

Will no doubt have been fettled with at X-Works which is all good too.
