Unfortunatly this visit was unavoidable. It is my fathers 50th and I had to come here for dinner. Anyway, since getting off the train at Kings Cross (because there is no effing way I'm driving here, the parking is crap) I've made two observations that cement my distaste for this place.

1) beards aren't grown, they are styled.

2) it must be really challenging to walk through Richmond Park, the amount of people wearing North Face clothing.

it also stinks of diesle, but every city does. However, I have just seen an Orange SLR 722 convertable so every cloud and all that.

Just keep walking. Reckon you'll see in the next hour, half a dozen fezzas, hear a dozen v12 AMG's and if you're really lucky a Veyron etc etc!

You forgot your camera didn't you!

I know I know, here I am crying my heart out whilst sat in an overpriced coffee shop when I could be in the east end getting stabbed.

You have been to London and all youve seen is facial hair, an orange car and raincoats. Good day out.

I reckon that the sooner Charlie Foxtrot, Foxtrot Oscars back to wherever he came from, the sooner London will be a better place once again.

I visited London for Fireworks night.

Great Pizza, and loved the underground smile

Always nice to go home though. Regardless of where you live.

How very pointless.

I don't fancy living there, either. Purely personal. My brother does, and loves it. However, unless you're a completely agrophobic hermit, you can't fail to see the merits that london has to offer. Some of the best cultural attractions in the world, the best restaurants, the best night life, the best shopping, brilliant sightseeing, and it also has that distinct 'change of scenery' aspect, and true feel of being in a capital city.

But then, if you live in front of your PC pretending you're right about the world, you won't be curious about any of these things.

Funny how I can just drive into town and find a space in Mayfair within minutes.

Bit of a crap view surely? Unless TfL are jazzing up the Circle line (which sounds faintly disgusting)
