Brunstrom's Jihad juniors
A COUPLE of months ago, Mad Mullah Brunstrom of the North Wales Traffic Taliban called a Press conference to monster a pensioner who had the audacity to query a speeding ticket.
Now one of his junior jihadists has accused a 56-year-old prospective Tory candidate of racism and threatened her with a “swift police response”.
Her crime was to protest at a public meeting about Brunstrom’s fatwah on motorists.
Businesswoman Felicity Elphick complained that the police should not put most people in the same category as some of those they had to deal with in Caia Park — a notorious, troubled, multi-racial housing estate near Wrexham.
It was the scene last summer of riots between locals and asylum seekers, which resulted in 80 arrests.
Mrs Elphick insists she was merely pointing out that the people at the meeting were upright, upstanding citizens, not boy racers, joyriders or hooligans.
She subsequently received a letter from Acting Chief Supt Geraint Anwyl warning her that what she had said had “serious racial undertones. In the event of further inflammatory conduct you can be assured of a swift police response”.
It beggars belief.
Clearly Mad Mullah Brunstrom isn’t the only fundamentalist nutter in the North Wales police.
My postbag is full of letters and e-mails from local residents wanting to know how to bring Brunstrom and his jihadists under control.
If David Blunkett won’t act, find out the names of your local police authority members. Many of them will be councillors. Bombard them with phone calls and letters. Picket their meetings. Make their lives a misery until they listen.
Brunstrom and his jihadists must be made to understand they are public servants, instead of behaving like Ve Are Ze Masters Now.
