GT: Mosler

GT or N-GT, Shorty ponders

Rollcentre's Noble should make a great debut in GT Cup class this year but what about the all conquering Mosler.

Team boss Martin Short commented earlier today: "We are still waiting on a full driver line up with the Mosler . I guess that with the new GT regulations, there is some driver uncertainty about which direction to go in for 2004. We have made a lot of improvements on the car, including converting to right hand drive (well I like it!) and a whole host of things that I couldn't possibly make public (!), but suffice to say that the car is being readied for a full on attack. But which class? The advent of the re-emergence of the GT class has really made some changes, and we have yet to see what is going to happen. Hopefully by the end of January we will know, and drivers will firm up their plans ."

Wait and see...

Oooo, that Martin Short's a tease isn't he?????!!!! Fancy getting all those TVR hopes up..... and then he's bound to opt for N-GT!!!! Although perhaps the challenge will be more tempting.... quite like the idea of seeing them up against the Saleens and Listers.....

Really can't wait for the season now!

All what TVRs? Are there any TVRs confirmed in the GTs, as opposed to the endurance series?

The Synergy team may run a TVR in the series... see another thread.

Peninsula have released their new liveried car (yellow and black) which they'll run in the series.

Eclipse will run their updated (& re-bodied!) car in the series...... and there is talk of them running two cars...

So plenty of TVR's in British GT's for all those TVR fans!

Yeah, make me a happy bunny, this with the news of the improvments to Castle Coombe, guess where I'm off to watch the GTs in the summer.

Looks like it is shaping up to be a great season of racing.

I have been very impressed with professional nature of the SR Organisation and it should be a mega good year for GT racing in the UK.
