TVR servicing in scotland

Hi everyone, Im trying to find out if v8 sports & classics that used to be located outside
drem near edinburgh has moved or closed down, it was run by noel flannery.
I had a griff 500 he used to work on around 2003/2004, im not to mechanically minded so He made living with it quite easy and i plan to get another next year as soon as the new garage it built.

Noel closed down a few years ago to take up a job working for one of the A1 GP teams. Dreadnought is your best bet for any TVR related work.

There is Dreadnought i have used them before and found them good did a few little jobs like geo set up and a engine mount and a good check over before i went round Europe.

Dreadnought in Callander, or if you're south-east-ish you can head over the border to Hexham Horseless Carriages.

I do that, as much for the drive as anything

A68 over Carter bar, but the section from Otterburn to Corbridge is fantastic dreadful with no speed cameras safety measures at all.

Wish I used them to sort out my clutch problem, I spoke with Claire and the price she quoted me was cheaper than the half of a job that I eventually had done, the problem at that time was just logistics. Saying that I now know where I would do my business.

Never used Dreadnought. Heard good thing's from some people and bad from others. I just didn't get a reply from them when I needed a service and was trying to book the car in.

Ended up using Green Star in Blackpool, great service from them and ex factory engineer. Can't say better than that really.

Cheer's for the help, dreadnought did some work on my fathers MG and he was happy with their work.It was just that noel was very helpful and good to deal with.

He used to be on here occasionally (Noel V8) but I don't think he's been on for a few years...

I suspect he'll be at the Central Scotland TVR Xmas bash, could give him a heads up, but I think he only does a few odd jobs for friends these days when he's home from the race team.

Sorry to hear that you did not get a reply, we try to reply the same day. Can only assume that your email got stuck in our spam system or we lost it somehow.

i'll vouch for that - I emailed Dreadnought when I had overheating problems with the Cerb, Claire replied next morning and Brian called later that day. He gave me free advice on what was probably wrong and a recommendation of where to take it if that didn't work.
