Pain, a strangely useful evolutionary mechanism.

Not very pleasurable, but required to preserve normal function.

Feck the science, what is the most pain you have ever experienced?

A broken bone, parturition, reception up the back passage sans lubrication.

I have broken a leg once, but the most pain and suffering I recall is as a 6 year old, being absolutely battered in the face by a large snowball at close range. The misery and cold was unbearable.

What is the most pain you have ever felt?

Not very bad on the grand scheme of things, but having my gums sewn up with no painkillers wasn't nice.

Lets see, some dumbass surgeon using continous nylon thread to stitch me back up after an op, and then leaving it too long to take them out. When they did take them out, the skin had started to grow over the stitches and upon cutting them with a scalpel blade, i was heard on the floor i was on, plus the floor above and below, so thats about 10 wards all heard me, mind you, i was only 11 at the time whereas now, i would just pass out like the big girls blouse that i am.

Toothache. Without question the most painfull experiance you could have, apart from watching Friends, Will & Grace or Frasier that is.

Having a bone marrow sample taken from the sternum. This will hurt a bit, said the medical sadist. Lying bd. It hurt more than a hard kick in the bks.

So, a snowball in the face hurts, a kick in the goolies hurts, what would the effect of a snowball in the goolies be like?

More to the point, why would anyone be having a snowball fight in the nude?

being stun by a sting ray hurt quite a bit - luckily it was juvenile, so the barb only went 3/4 through my foot. The 800 metre hop off the beach was not pleasant.

Having some dumb jnr doc trying to relocate my dislocated and broken thumb, without believing me that is was broken, also hurt a bit

Oh yeah, i forgot to add that falling off a fence and snapping three ribs hurts like hell, but nowhere near as much as dislocating my knee did

Got shot in the bk paintballing! Black and blue for days. Literally.

Beat even the snapped crutiate and torn medial ligaments (different times).

Mind you, broken ribs from an indoor karting crash came close come to think of it.

Kidney stone. Astonishingly painful, to the extent that all you can do is throw up whilst in a foetal ball of shock.
