E36 318iS - r/c/l?

Hi All,

Had my E36 318iS (std and with 70,000m ) for a year now but it came with just one key. Should it have r/c/l and if so is this sometihng that I'll have to go to the 'main stealer' for?

It would have been an option i think.
Best bet would be a 200 quid thatcham alarm which will have RCL as part of it.

My 1993 one has a remote fob and it wasn't one of the options ordered with the car.

The remote locking came with the optional alarm, which even if fitted, will probably long since have packed up by now. If your car has one fitted, it will have a red LED on the panel just ahead of the gearstick and there'll be two ultrasonic sensors at the top corners of the windscreen.
