Anyone seen the image in this weeks Autocar? Well I can go one better having just seen something very similiar covered in tape driving down the A303. Don't think it's the next model but maybe new headlights, bumper and grill. It was also a left hooker.

Why would Autocar pay for a picture when you could have seen it at the Detroit auto show two weeks ago?

Precisely because it was covered in tape. Because the facelifted model has been released, anything covered in tape might hold clues as to the look of the new S-Type R, but it might well have been something entirely different.

This is the fourth time I have seen a disguised car and never managed to get a pic, saw a Merc on the Autobahn near Stuttgart doing 7 figure speeds, a christ knows what on the M50 (really heavily disguised uber limo), an Aston filling up with fuel on the A303 and then this Jag on the A303. (uuummm PAG testing ground)
