Calling all Northern Cerbs - Sunday 20th Dec SYTVRCC meet
Discussion
Guys,
Just wanted to open out an invite to anyone who might be interested that at this months South Yorkshire TVRCC meet on Sunday 20th Dec we are trying to get as many Cerbera's there for a group photo.
Why? Well, why not? Any excuse to get out in the Cerb and meet some like minded folk.
The title isn't supposed to discriminate against "southern" shandy drinking types - just that I figured that there's a limit to how far people want to drive
The SYTVRCC meets are a pretty relaxed group - make your excuses and avoid the Christmas shopping. Or even better, drop your other half off at Meadowhell at J34 of the M1, and come to the meet just off J36 of the M1 - thereby killing two birds with one stone!
The meet starts at 12:00, and I'll be leaving Sheffield about 12 with a group of TVRs so should be there by 12:30.
Hope some of you can make it out - it would be good to put some faces to names on here!
Cheers,
Mike
Guys,
Kev is trying to arrange a Cerbera group photo at the next SYTVRCC meet next Sunday - if you can make it, it would be great to try and get as many Cerbera's at the meet as possible (hey, any excuse to get the Cerb out and go for a drive!)
I've not got all the details of the Cerb owners who live in the area - please feel free to forward this on.
Hope to see you next Sunday at the Tavern.
The Tavern at Hemmingfield is off the M1, Junc'n 36, turn East on to the A6195 and at the 7th roundabout, turn right to Hemmingfield, about 2 mile on, The Tavern is on your right, the car park on your left.
The Tavern
Lundhill Lane, Wombwell,
Barnsley,
South Yorkshire,

Cheers,
Mike

Weather permitting i'm collecting mine on Saturday morning, so hopefully will see you on Sunday
Nice one Bob. Glad you found one. Look forward to seeing it.
I just hope the forecast is wrong or i may need some brave pills, as it's ninety miles down the M1.

Don't worry, they are. I've taken my two (2yrs and 4yrs old)for a meal there before - they are fine.
Bob - really looking forward to seeing your new 4.5....... just take it easy on the right foot!
Me too, i've not seen it for a month!Bob - really looking forward to seeing your new 4.5....... just take it easy on the right foot!
As for driving it, i think it's fair to say i'll be concentrating a bit more than usual

According to my weather predictor it will be a high of -1 but blue skys and bright. So should be fine for a run with reasonable confidence.
I might have to take my two boys (aged 8 and 10) so hope the pub is family friendly!
I think you may have created a new oxymoron with "a high of -1" I might have to take my two boys (aged 8 and 10) so hope the pub is family friendly!

If you live on my hill then -1 is luxury this time of year!
I live in a Valley with a Stream at the back of the house so I am low down, sometimes I can just go half a mile up the road and it's white over but nothing at home.Gassing Station | Cerbera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
