I recently tried purchasing some car related components for £310, well i say recently i did pay back on Oct 27th anyway....

The name i have was Mr Andrew K Channer and he lives in Hertfordshire sg1

I bought these over a forum and not ebay.

What are the chances of the BiB giving a brass monkies about this and what are the chances of recovering my money?

The Police will definitely be interested. They will track him down, put him before the courts. He will then get a long spell in Prison getting raped by Mr Big who's in with the warders and you will get all your money back.

Oooh yeah.

Part of it was Paypal but because i'd reached my spending limit with part of it, the rest i had to pay via bank transfer, luckily the lions share was with paypal.

so you have no address? only the first part of the post code?
contact your bank and see if they can recover the money, guessing it was a transfer and through no legit means?

Failing that spend this weekend going and asking at every door, can't be that many houses.

Forum link and unleash the PH massive?

No "A Channer" on Stevenage area electoral roll but they might have opted out.

Originally i was going to collect, but couldn't so i paid extra to have the items posted, but since then i've had loads of excuses then no contact for about a month now frown

If i called the local police station would they even bother with it or am i wasting my time?

Either way, I'd save the data on this thread before it gets pulled!

Well yes but i've not had any joy yet.

I contacted Herts police, as soon as i said the address the guy said, oh is that Stevenage?? er yes.... is his name Mr Channer by any chance..... yes....

So they know him, they said write him a letter and if he fails to respond the police will deal with it.

so i best get my letter writing kit out!
