Possible hose failure

Silly sodding car! Went out for a blatt this afternoon around North Yorkshire with no problems except for a frost bitten nose. Stopped at the gym this afternoon and was there for an hour and a half.
During the drive home, noticed steam coming from under the bonnet. Fortunately was just around the corner from home, so waited for it to cool down, topped up with water and limped home. Just as I pulled in to the garage, this happened again so I popped the bonet put the light on and had a look.
Steam was hissing from somewhere near the bottom offside part of the engine.
Given that I don't want to risk limping up the bourghbridge, what's the betting that the fourth emergency service can sort me out with a ride on a lorry tomorrow?
