I got run into by an uninsured in a people carrier with his stinking fat wife and kids in the same place approaching the tunnel. Right up the back of me - right in the middle. I got photos of him and of the damage at the time, and reported it within 20 minutes at the station as he refused to give me his details.

The police gave me a producer and told me that if anything happened to him they'd be right to my front door for racially aggravated assault. And they know where I live and that I have a shotgun so be a good boy and leave him alone.

They then wrote to me two months later and told me that it was not the the publci interest to do anything about it.

As I said, good luck with it.

Hi guys, thanks for the kind words. I'm ok just seriously p'ed off that we have been done. I was sat in middle lane crawling along towards tunnel when she came in the side of me, its like she has cut me up 2 foot too early! Not too much damage but enough. We then both pull over to exchange details and the moment I say I want to take a couple of piccies of the damage on her car, she is in it and off like a rocket! Seems very dodgy to me. Reported it to met, apparantly I have to report it which I can do online, but as said before I doubt anything will happen and we will get stung for it. Grr!

Today I had to pay just over 2k to get my 17 year old insured on his little car!!!! Uninsured divers SHOULD be hunted down and nicked badly, why do plod not give a st when this sort of thing happens?
